New Board of Directors composition
On June 10th, 2021, flovtec's shareholders at the Annual General Meeting have elected a new Board of Directors (BoD).
With great excitement we announce two new BoD members. Frank Floessel will be leading flovtec's BoD as Chairman, and Florian Wimmer will join as a BoD member.
Frank Floessel is an experienced Serial Entrepreneur, who has been with flovtec as a Consultant for Strategy & Business Development for the better part of the last year. Frank has demonstrated strong commitment and passion for flovtec’s vision, and we are thrilled to have him as flovtec’s Chairman.
Florian Wimmer can only be described as one of the shooting stars in the European Blockchain ecosystem. He is the Founder and CEO of Blockpit, an Austria-based company specializing in crypto tax solutions. With Blockpit he is achieving staggering growth and entering numerous high-profile partnerships. Florian is a crypto native. His knowledge and network in the ecosystem will be extremely valuable to flovtec, and we are very excited to have him become a part of our BoD.
Frank and Florian will join Daniel Diemers on the flovtec Board of Directors. We are extremely happy that Daniel will serve on flovtec's Board for another term. He is one of the pioneers in the Swiss Digital Asset ecosystem, and his continued guidance will be paramount to flovtec's success.
Manuel Krieger, flovtec’s previous Chairman, will be focusing his entire capacity on his role at Sygnum Bank. We thank Manuel for his great contribution and we wish him all the very best going forward. I myself, will focus entirely on my executive role as CEO of flovtec. We have therefore stepped down from the BoD.
We are highly confident that the Board, in its new composition, is extremely well equipped, to set the strategic trajectory for flovtec’s next steps.
